cold weather tents - get creative

As night falls and darkness covers the surroundings, a good bright fire is the most important thing for warmth and guidance. A tent offers you protection from the elements as well as from the residents of the forest or the mountains that you are camping in.

If there is an accident or mishap along the way, there will be more people to assist if you are camping or hiking with a group. As a couple who have had a great many nights under the stars, there are many essentials that we would not leave home without, starting with a tent and a flashlight for obvious reasons. Vegetables are also quite useful for family camping or hiking trips, because they can be cut up in advance, and put into easily carryable plastic bags.

Camping, especially if it is accompanied by trekking and other adventure sport, can be pretty tiring and you will want to rest your weary bones at the end of the day so don't forget your sleeping bag. Make you carry energy-packed foods that are fuss-free to eat and do not require refrigeration. Ensuring that your camping gear necessities are in place, in order and are functional is critical if making that camping trip something really special and memorable for all is what you have in mind.

Layers allow you to reduce or increase clothing as and when the temperatures change. Matches will be needed to light a fire if you are planning on camping out on your hiking trip or if you get lost. Make sure to bring a sleeping bag that is made to withstand the deep freeze of winter.

Hot dogs cooked on a stick over crackling flames is always a nice camping meal. You should also develop a routine for keeping your feet dry and comfortable.
