Camping trips offer people the chance to relax and sometimes even recuperate from illness, spend quality time with family and quite often even help iron out differences between couples or other family members. Sitting under the stars, cooking out, and eating smores can just make any day seem better.
Mountain climbing experiences are unpredictable. Although hiking on your own can seem like an exiting adventure, it is a lot safer to go hiking in a group. Adults who went camping as kids usually have very vivid memories of their adventures.
As difficulty increases, however, so does the amount of stuff you need. Try to flex and exercise your ankles at least several times in the week or two before your trip. Make sure to bring a sleeping bag that is made to withstand the deep freeze of winter.
Camping is also a way for families to bond and for children to nurture new friendships. Campfire cooking will bring everyone together for an enjoyable evening of storytelling and great food.
